If you request for help, the application will send your location data to our servers and send a SMS with your location data to the in the app displayed rescue number, usually the national rescue number (in Switzerland 144).
If you acknowledged to act as First-Aider for a certain help request, the application will send your location data to our servers and inform the help requestor about your help and your distance to the emergency site.
Does the Application collect precise real time location information of the device?
The application will use GPS technology (or other similar technology) to determine your current location. The application will never send these location information to our servers unless you request for help or you acknowledge to act as first-aider for a certain emergency case.
Your location information will only be sent to our servers as long the emergency case is active and you act as first-aider. You always are able to decline your help and the application will stop sending your location information.
If you do not want us to use your location for the purposes set forth above, you should turn off the location services for the mobile application located in your account settings or in your mobile phone settings and/or within the mobile application. Then your location cannot and will not be sent to the national emergency number, which makes this app more or less useless.
